We now have an exciting 6-month fixed term opportunity for a Youth Practitioner to join the team and be part of a group of mental health and addiction providers working together to deliver a service in the Counties Manukau area.
This role is fixed term to cover a period of parental leave, and ideally, the successful candidate will be able to start early November 2025 .
The Stand Up! Community Service aims to develop cohesive and responsive services that meet the wellbeing needs of young people — including our Pacific youth.
This will result in young people having increased access and choice of services to meet their primary mental health and addiction (MH&A) needs by offering flexible pathways, with an any door is the right door approach.
We will work together as one connected service to support young people in a range of settings, walking alongside them and their whānau every step of the way.
Young people and their whānau are at the centre of decision-making , and equity is at the forefront of all service development.
The suite of services involved in this approach will ensure there is a stepped approach to the level of support provided, depending on the complexity of the young person’s needs, from supportive to more intensive interventions.
