:In this exciting role, you will play a key part in our developing Specialist teaching department, inspiring students in Y7 and 8 to explore the fascinating world of materials technology. You'll develop engaging and hands-on lessons introducing students to various materials, their properties, and how they can be used to design and create functional and innovative products.Key responsibilities:Develop and deliver creative and curriculum-aligned materials technology programs for Y7 and 8.Integrate Te Ao Māori and sustainability principles into your teaching.Provide safe and effective instruction in using tools and equipment within the materials technology workshops.Foster a positive learning environment that encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration.Build strong relationships with students, parents, and whānau.Contribute to the ongoing development of the specialist curriculum at TNIS.We are looking for someone who
