Job Description
When you join our Workshop team you are joining a team that takes pride in what they do!
About the role
Based at our workshop in East Tamaki, the role is responsible for our in-house preventative maintenance and repairs of all types of bins and associated equipment.
You will be setting up and operating hand tools, including but not limited to gas cutting, drills, grinders and clamps, along with requisitioning or repairing parts and associated consumables.
About you
We are looking for someone with experience in MIG welding and fabrication and has used a range of engineering hand and power tools.
If you hold the qualification in Welding to AS/NZS 2980 that would be a strong advantage but not essential as experience and a strong health & safety attitude is key to securing this role.
You will have a valid NZ drivers licence and valid NZ forklift licence, some basic computer experience would be great, you can work in a team but equally on your own, and your time management is excellent.
You will be joining a team that get together for morning tea, have some fun but work to a high standard to get the job done.
