About the Role
Ward 32 at Middlemore Hospital is looking for a friendly, organised, and proactive Ward Clerk to serve as the welcoming face of our team.

This is a part-time position, working 5 hours per day, Monday to Sunday, on a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation.

Working hours are from 8:30am to 1:30pm, however the hours can be negotiated if needed.
You will play a key role supporting the daily operations of the ward, collaborating with nurses, doctors, clerical staff, and other healthcare professionals.

You will also be a vital point of contact for patients, families, and visitors, helping to create a smooth, caring experience for everyone.
About You
You will help keep the ward running smoothly by ensuring spaces are ready for new patient admissions and maintaining accurate, well-organised records at all times, a key part of delivering high-quality care.
What you will need to succeed;
Proven experience in customer serviceIntermediate computer skillsExperience with hospital systems (iPMS/WiMS) is a bonus but not essentialWorking at Health New Zealand
