Applicants must be a NZ registered Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist with:· A current practising certificate· A thorough knowledge of the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi and a sensitivity to different cultures· A 'whatever it takes' approachWe are seeking therapists with a knowledge of a range of disabilities, assessment tools and therapies appropriate for children.
However, if you don't and are keen to develop paediatric skills and learn how to work in a transdisciplinary model with whanau we can offer you a unique opportunity to participate in comprehensive education and on the job training.Our Tairawhiti Way of Working involves working collectively across agencies to enable whanau to flourish.
