This award is intended to provide support for living costs to an undergraduate student enrolling in their second, third or fourth year of study for a Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Computing, Geography or Geology.
Applicants must be:
enrolled in 100-level study (or above) in a designated Bachelor's degree at the University of Otago when applying for this scholarship
planning to enrol in 200-level study (or above) in a designated Bachelor's degree at the University of Otago in the intended year of tenure
Adesignated Bachelor's degree means a Bachelor's degree taught in one of the following:
School of Surveying
School of Computing
School of Geography
Department of Geology
The following factors shall be considered in selecting the scholarship recipient:
Academic performance
Community or volunteer service
Extra-curricular and sporting activities
Future aspirations and clear articulation of how they may be realised
Financial or other barriers to pursuing and continuing tertiary education
