Overview

Unity and Storyline Developer (Digital Learning) – NZ-based.

You will build gamified training experiences in Unity and create digital learning modules in Storyline 360, collaborating with our team to stretch the possibilities of learning gamification.

Responsibilities

  • Master development within Storyline 360 to set new standards of what’s possible technically and creatively.

  • Build fully gamified training experiences in Unity and get them working seamlessly within Storyline 360.

  • Collaborate with the team to push the boundaries of learning gamification across client projects.

  • Develop gamified, interactive learning experiences using Unity and other game-development tools integrated into eLearning platforms.

  • Develop and manipulate 3D models to create immersive learning environments for clients.

  • Produce non-gamified modules, courses, quizzes, and assessments using Storyline 360, Rise, Captivate, and other eLearning tools (training provided).

  • Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure a premium learning experience.

  • Support export and delivery of files for LMS uploads.

  • Support the development of additional digital learning content (e.g., animated videos, how-to guides, performance support, VR experiences).

  • Assist with designing images, illustrations, infographics, and other assets to enhance learner understanding.

  • Research trends and tools in digital learning, gamification, and learning technologies.

  • Support client and internal projects and marketing activities with your expertise.

  • Continuously seek new ways to delight clients and engage audiences.

  • Strong Unity development skills with experience creating interactive, gamified experiences.

  • Willingness to work extensively with Storyline 360 (training provided) and to learn new technologies.

  • Creative, problem-solving mindset with the ability to think strategically about game design.

  • Strong project management, communication, and attention to detail, with the ability to deliver on time and on budget.

  • Passion for learning and a friendly, enthusiastic approach with clients and colleagues.

  • Solid Git/version control knowledge for handovers between NZ and UK teams.

  • Flexibility in working hours to connect with UK-based team and international clients.

  • Experience with Storyline 360, Rise, or other eLearning authoring tools.

  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).

  • Enthusiasm for experimenting, testing, and pushing boundaries in digital learning.
