It's a chance to sink your teeth into significant, high-impact projects for a brand that’s a household name in New Zealand.

Move beyond just pushing pixels and to become a key part of a purpose-driven business that is all about earning the trust of every New Zealander!

The Story

Our client is making a major investment in their digital customer experience and is bringing in top talent to help shape the future of their online platforms.

This has created an exciting contract opportunity for a seasoned designer to join a high-performing team and make a tangible impact on core digital products.

Company Profile

This is one of New Zealand’s most iconic brands, connecting Kiwis to each other and the world.

They are known for their commitment to customer experience and are now channelling that into creating a world-class digital journey.

You’ll be joining a supportive and creative team of designers who are passionate about making a difference.

Your Role

You’ll be the champion for user-centred design, turning complex data into seamless and engaging customer experiences.

Day-to-day you will:

  • Take charge of UI-heavy visual design tasks, producing high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes in Figma.

  • Work closely with developers, product owners, and data analysts in a fast-paced Agile environment.

  • Confidently present your design decisions and rationale to team members and senior stakeholders.

Benefits

This is an initial 6-month contract with a high likelihood of extension, offering a daily rate between $700 - $780 per day + GST.

They offer a hybrid model with four days in their Auckland central office and one day work from home.

You’ll get to add high-impact projects for a market-leading brand to your portfolio, and you'll work with a talented and passionate team along the way!

Your Fit

You’re a senior UI/UX or Product Designer with a strong portfolio that showcases your expertise in design.

You have a real passion for UI and visual design and you're comfortable using data to inform and validate your choices.

You thrive as the design expert within an Agile squad and have the confidence and maturity to communicate your ideas clearly to stakeholders.
