OverviewCoordinate the Faster Cancer Treatment pathway to support timely, high-quality cancer care.Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical teams to improve patient journeys and outcomes.Enjoy a supportive team environment with professional development and wellbeing benefits.Auckland City Hospital Fixed term until October ****, full time (40 hours)Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.About the Role As a Tumour Stream Coordinator, you will prospectively track patients through the Faster Cancer Treatment pathway.
Your role involves collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to coordinate patient journeys, assisting in project coordination, and utilising hospital data systems such as TrakCare and Qlik to improve service delivery.
You will engage closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for cancer patients and their whanau.Te Puriri o Te Ora is the name that has been gifted to our northern regional cancer and blood services by Kahurangi Rangimarie Naida Glavish of Ngati Whatua, Chief Advisor Tikanga for Te Toka Tumai Auckland.
Te Puriri o Te Ora means the Puriri tree of wellbeing and speaks to the many qualities and gifts of the Puriri tree and our aspiration to provide a place of healing and wellbeing for our communities.Te Puriri o Te Ora is the biggest cancer and blood service within Aotearoa, providing care to approximately 40% of the country.
