Downer is seeking a Traffic Management (TTM) Designer to join our high-performing team in Whangarei and deliver innovative traffic solutions across New Zealand.As a TTM Designer, you will be responsible for crafting effective Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) tailored to diverse worksites and activities.
Working closely with project teams, Road Controlling Authorities, and clients, you'll design traffic control systems that prioritise safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and submit accurate, compliant TMPs using tools like RapidPlanCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth deliveryConduct risk assessments and develop effective traffic control strategiesMaintain TMP documentation, approvals, and ensure plans remain currentSupport delivery teams to ensure TMPs are executed safely and effectivelyHelp drive a strong safety culture aligned with Zero Harm principlesNga pukenga matua | Important SkillsCertified in TTM Risk Assessment & Design (Micro-Credentials) and Unit StandardsProficient in RapidPlan and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong knowledge of CoPTTM, NZGTTM, and HSWAExcellent communicator, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teamsA problem-solver with a strong performance mindset and commitment to safetyMe pehea ki te tono | How to applyIf this sounds like the opportunity for you, click Apply Now to submit your application!
