OverviewThe Role: As a Transmission Line Mechanic at Northpower, you'll be at the forefront of transmission line construction and maintenance, ensuring that our customers' needs are met safely and efficiently.
You'll be part of a great team working on essential projects and contributing to the smooth operation of our transmission lines.
Your main focus will be on delivering high-quality work, operating electrical equipment, and completing necessary documentation while ensuring compliance with safety standards.We are looking for a Transmission Line Mechanic to join our team, and you'll be based in Rotorua, Bay of Plenty.
In this role, you'll work in a supportive environment where your contributions are valued, and you'll have opportunities to develop your skills and make a difference every day.
This is a permanent role with a minimum guarantee of 40 hours per week, worked Monday to Friday.
Please note that standby, overtime, and weekend work will apply to this role.Key responsibilitiesBuild and repair transmission lines in line with customer specifications and regulatory standards, ensuring reliable and safe power delivery.Develop and Implement Work Plans and manage the construction and maintenance of transmission equipment.Complete all necessary field paperwork, including inspection reports and asset documentation.Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact project timelines or quality.What's in it for you?
