We've secured a fantastic opportunity supporting the Powerco network and their customers in Tauranga, and we need YOU to help us build something amazing from the ground up! If you're ready for a fresh challenge and want to be part of an exciting new chapter, we'd love to hear from you.

We are currently looking for Trainee Line Mechanics to join our team in Tauranga.

These are permanent full-time roles with guaranteed fortnightly pay in a stable and supportive environment.

What you'll do:

  • Assist registered Line Mechanics to repair and restore lines, cables and equipment.

  • Undertake appropriate education and experience to be able to install new equipment and services on both overhead lines and underground cables.

  • Work in close contact with customers and the public, remaining courteous and helpful at all times.

  • Work in a team environment to actively support fellow team members.

  • Complete documentation relevant to the performance of duties 

  • This is a great opportunity if you:

  • Have a minimum four years secondary school, with NCEA passes in Maths and English.

  • Ideally have a full, clean drivers licence.
