We're looking for an experienced and motivated Traffic Management Designer to work with our team in Nelson, full-time role, Monday-Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM.If you're passionate about road safety, great at creating accurate, site-specific traffic plans, and love collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders, this could be your perfect next move.What You'll Be Doing:In this role, you'll be at the heart of planning safe, effective traffic solutions for a variety of civil and infrastructure projects.
Your designs will help keep workers and road users safe, minimise disruptions, and ensure projects run smoothly.Create detailed Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) for internal crews and external clientsLiaise with key stakeholders to communicate safe, practical methodologiesManage incoming service requests and ensure high-quality plan deliverySupport planning across multiple teams and projectsHelp develop project methodologies, budgets, and schedulesCoordinate with contractors, project managers, and council contactsWhat You'll Bring to the Team:Proven experience in traffic management and/or TMP designProficiency with TMP software (e.g. RapidPlan, RapidPath, or AutoCAD)STMS A/B/C-NP qualifications are a plusStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasksGreat communication skills – both written and verbalSelf-driven with a proactive mindset and a love for problem-solvingMust have appropriate working rights in NZWe are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
