Responsibilities
Maintain and optimize the mechanical and electrical performance of factory machinery through innovation and continuous improvement and utilize the preventative maintenance programme.
Maintain all conveyor belts, trio skinning machines, hydraulics and pumps to their optimum capacity.
Monitor electrical systems and perform stainless steel repairs.
Provide maintenance in the fishmeal plant and assist in the engine room when required.
Work under the direction of the #1 Factory Engineer.
Qualifications and Requirements
Experience as a motor mechanic or small motor mechanical or engineering experience; passion for working on vehicles or machinery.
A satisfactory pre-employment drug test and a physical medical assessment.
Applicants must have legal entitlement to live and work in New Zealand and reside in New Zealand on a permanent basis (permanent position).
