By collaborating extensively with leading healthcare professionals you'll see first-hand the impact you have on individual lives - one patient at a time.Core objective of this Territory Manager role is to support the Peripheral Intervention division in achieving sales targets, goals and objectives of the division: to aid the achievement of customer satisfaction and business growth through focused business planning; and to support customers with clinical expertise to enable optimal patient outcomes.This role will support the Peripheral Interventions division which includes the Core Vascular and Interventional Oncology Portfolios.
There is an expectation of domestic and international travel with up to 7 days per month out of Auckland, this however is fluid.
This role is responsible for the New Zealand North region and reports directly to the Country Manager.WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
Develop and execute on territory plans to deliver on annual revenue commitments and build a sustainable business over the longer term.Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and drive new business in the assigned territory.Plan and develop the market for our existing and new products in line with divisional goals & objectives.Proactively partner with ANZ Peripheral Interventions colleagues and the Country Manager to foster collaboration, drive alignment, and create synergy across product portfolios.Align with the business strategy to visit customers and potential customers of Boston Scientific on a regular and planned basis to promote products and services to achieve sales targets.Provide a high standard of customer service and technical support to our customers and cultivate relationships with hospital staff across all areas.Identify competitor activities, work with state-based colleagues and management to devise action plans to convert to BSC products.Maintain all company assets, administrative duties, including assigned inventory, in good order and in accordance with BSC audit and Quality process requirements.Regularly review sales data to understand products that are increasing and declining to identify drivers to achieve plan and gaps to plan (both account level and product level analysis)Complete regular market analysis and reportingTo represent Boston Scientific values and integrity.KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED FOR SUCCESSSALES PERFORMANCEIs a seasoned professional salesperson, with demonstrated sales success.Strong track record of identifying and executing on new business opportunities.Effectively determines customer's needs and applies knowledge of products and services to meet these needs.Demonstrated ability to manage a territory.Identify and build strong long-term relationships with KOL's and all other clinical and non-clinical stakeholdersPRODUCT/TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGEDevelop an in-depth knowledge of devices and treatment applications.Proactively keeps up to date with product and technical knowledge.RELATIONSHIP BUILDINGBuilds and maintains effective networks that add value in achieving work related goals.Skilled in building rapport with a wide variety of individuals.Understands the balance between taking time to build rapport and achieving objectives set.Works effectively and collaboratively within the team environment.ORGANISING AND REPORTINGMaintains well organised materials, files, system and reports.Plans and prioritizes territory activity.Makes sure all parts of a job are completed in full, within deadlines, including follow up plans and paperwork.RESULTS FOCUSEDHas a results-oriented mindset.Measures his/her own performance and seeks feedback for self-development.Demonstrates resilience and has a strong sense of urgency.Recognises and acts on opportunities.Maintains a flexible approach to meet goals.SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSStrong sales experience with demonstrated achievement of sales success in medical devices strongly preferred.Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining strong internal and external relationshipsStrong business acumen, proactive, and demonstrated accountability.Ability to plan and prioritise a flexible and dynamic work scheduleResults focused with a resilient, flexible and agile approachAbility to work both independently and as part of a team.Ability to react in a timely manner to requests, taking action to execute.Strong IT skills including proficiency in MS Office applications.Demonstrated ability of self-learning.WHY CHOOSE US?
