The company is headquartered in Milan, Italy and employs approximately 4,000 people.ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers within your territory and grow your network.Achieve sales and distribution objectives through planning and execution of call cycles.Provide ongoing superior customer service to your territory customers.Drive brand education and sales with established clients to encourage trial and incremental growth.Focus on direct on-trade accounts, understand value chains, create internal and external proposal documents, and present to stakeholders.Maintain customer records and review performance at regular intervals through JBP processes.Manage on-trade promotional and incentive schemes and redemptions in line with Marketing Programs.Maintain segmentation and perfect store guidelines to maximize brand exposure at point of sale.Provide information on key industry trends and major competitor activity.Display time management by meeting deadlines, planning calls, and following up on queries promptly.Collaborate with the National Field team and across the organisation to maintain positive morale and teamwork.Complete monthly reports and prepare territory reviews at Call Cycle team meetings.Attend and/or host tasting events, visits, fairs, trade events and functions as required by customers or Campari New Zealand.Attend Sales Meetings and implement actions arising from them.Key RelationshipsInternal: The On-Trade Territory Managers report to the Head of On-Trade and work with the Commercial Sales team and peers across the country.External: Customer base within defined territory, agencies and third-party vendors as required.Experience RequiredAt least 3 to 5 years' experience in Liquor/Beverage or other FMCG is highly desirable.Currently operating or have previously operated in a Territory Management or Sales Representative role (or similar).
A deep knowledge and understanding of the local market and territory.Education / Licences / Other RequirementsDegree qualified is desirable but not essential.Unrestricted Driver's Licence.Physically fit to lift, move, organise and carry objects up to 20 kilograms.Functional SkillsTerritory Management – Builds strong customer relationships, manages time effectively, and pursues clear, result-focused objectives with strong product knowledge.Entrepreneurial and Commercial Thinking – Keeps up to date with market trends, identifies opportunities, demonstrates financial awareness, and understands trade marketing principles.Sales Skills – Understands questioning and closing techniques, takes orders, and handles price/volume within signed parameters.Other SkillsComputer literacy with Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
