The Opportunity
The Opportunity
Develop strong relationships with stores and their key staff
Build our brands through presence on shelf, position and location
Develop and negotiate key points of display in store, driving volume and value for both Mondelez and our customers in your region
Through reporting and analysis, build compelling business cases to support conversations and negotiations with store management
Work to drive ranging of the Mondelez portfolio in stores, and ensuring compliance to the promotional program and display activity
Develop and implement plans to increase store sales in collaboration with store management
Coach and train the team of merchandisers within the region
This is a permanent full-time position (40 hours per week), territory covers the areas of Dunedin, Central Otago (Queenstown & Wanaka), and Invercargill.
The ingredients you'll bring
At least 3 years experience in a large FMCG company, in a Field Sales or Account Management role
Experience working with New World & PakNSave owner-operated stores
Confectionery category experience, including managing significant seasonal activity
Strong communication skills with an ability to adapt your style as needed
A passion for selling and building relationships, including influencing and negotiation skills
A high level of self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously
Strong time management, planning and organisational skills
The ability to problem solve and think on your feet
Solid skills in MS Excel & Teams, reporting and analytical skills and experience with Tableau is advantageous
Flexibility to work additional hours during our busy seasonal periods (Easter and Christmas)
Good physical fitness
A full Driver's License and proven safe driving record
