We're seeking a highly experienced Registered Nurse to join a busy and community-focused clinic in West Auckland on a part-time, temporary basis.
This role is perfect for a nurse with strong community ties, a passion for advancing health equity, and the ability to deliver culturally responsive, whanau-centered care.Vaccination experience and knowledge of the West Auckland community are highly desirable.
This is an ASAP start temporary role until April ****, working 3 days per week - Mon, Tues, Thurs, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
What You'll Do:
Provide expert clinical care, cold chain management, and health promotion tailored to whanau needs.
Support navigation and access to both health and social services, promoting wellness and reducing hospital admissions.
Work collaboratively with whanau, clinicians, and stakeholders to deliver equitable, integrated care.
Participate in hui, planning sessions, and service reviews to continuously improve delivery and outcomes.
We're Looking For:
A Registered Nurse (NZ Nursing Council) with 5+ years' experience working closely with whanau.
Strong understanding of Te Reo me nga Tikanga Maori (fluency is a plus).
Skilled in referral triage, clinical assessment, and care coordination.
Confident communicator and team player with excellent documentation and IT skills.
Full clean Driver's License required.
