We're looking for a skilled Technology Support Officer to deliver reliable IT and technical support across the School of Engineering and the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences at our Hamilton and Tauranga campuses.
In this role, you'll work closely with ITS, academic, and technical staff to ensure teaching, research, and commercial activities run smoothly.

You'll provide advanced support for Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile platforms, assist with specialist hardware and software, and help maintain technical and laboratory infrastructure.
The position focuses on mechatronics, software, and electronic/electrical engineering, while also supporting a wider range of disciplines as needed.

This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining safe, reliable systems.

Salary will be based on skills, knowledge and experience brought to the position.

This is a full-time role (37.5 hours a week), based on our Hillcrest Campus.

Software Engineering is delivered by the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences (Au Reikura) in partnership with the School of Engineering.
