In this role, you'll be responsible for providing expert advice and interpretation of maintenance specifications and documentation, including the Schedule of Rates, Method of Measure, Scoping Guides, and the Amenity Condition Manual.
Your insights will help ensure that maintenance delivery teams and stakeholders understand and apply these documents consistently and effectively, leading to improved repair outcomes across our housing portfolio.
As a subject matter expert, you'll represent Kāinga Ora in technical forums, product evaluations, and work programmes, and contribute to investigations into maintenance failures to identify systemic issues and recommend corrective actions.
You'll also support the sharing of technical knowledge across the organisation, helping frontline teams confidently apply maintenance standards.
Your work will involve engaging with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, sharing your expertise to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
You'll play a key role in identifying opportunities to improve Kāinga Ora's approach to maintenance, contributing to the development of technical training resources and supporting the implementation of practical solutions.
