We're on a digital journey, and we're looking for a curious, collaborative, and technical Business Analyst to own our internal systems and help us deliver high quality outcomes for all stakeholders.What you'll doAs a Technical Business Analyst, who's passionate about driving innovation and unlocking the potential of modern digital tools you'll work in a cross-functional capacity across our digital teams, with a primary focus on enhancing and optimising NZTE's internal apps and platforms.
You'll play a key role in evaluating new AI offerings and identifying opportunities to streamline processes, drive innovation, and deliver value for our people.Your impact will include:Using your analytical expertise to uncover, articulate and validate business challenges, opportunities and solutions for our internal systems.Diving deeply into workflows and processes, collaborating with stakeholders to design smarter, more efficient ways of working.Evaluating and recommending new tools, features and technologies to continuously enhance our internal systems and implement improvementsBuilding strong trusted relationships between digital and data technical teams, stakeholders and vendors to translate technical concepts to ensure smooth end to end delivery.What you'll bringExperience working cross-functionally across digital teams and business units5+ years' business analysis experience, with strong understanding of internal systems (ServiceNow experience a bonus)Interest in evaluating and implementing new AI toolsAbility to translate complex ideas into clear, actionable insights and communicate at all levelsPassion for optimising processes and systems and delivering customer-centric solutionsSolid understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with the ability to adapt approach based on project needsFamiliarity with the end-to-end lifecycle of system development, including design, build, testing, deployment, and supportSkill in process documentation, business case development, and supporting decision-makingWhy you'll love working hereNZTE offers flexible work arrangements of 3 days in the office, a dynamic environment, and the chance to build valuable business networks with a talented, diverse team.
