We are currently recruiting for a Team leader for our Customer Onboarding team on a full time basis for who has what it takes to deliver top and accurate results in a fast paced, detail oriented and deadline focused environment.
Tea tūranga | The role:
The Customer Onboarding (COB) team is a group of Onboarding Specialists tasked with providing EXCEPTIONAL service to our customers and colleagues around the on-boarding of new entity customers.
We recognise that the process associated with this is hard and hard to get right for our customers, and so our service offering looks to alleviate this pain by having the tricky parts of the process performed by specialists.
Our team has 2 main focuses:
1.
We are focused on how easy we can make it for new enterprise customers to join the bank and how positive we can make their experience during this process
2.
At the same time we are focused on the goal of being compliant with requirements of AML/CFT and CRS legislation.
Our function is part of Customer Verification Services (CVS) within Financial Crime Operations (FCO) where we are working together to raise awareness, prevent and combat financial crime for all New Zealanders.
The role needs someone who has previous leadership experience, a growth mindset, strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts for different audiences.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in Compliance, Risk, Financial Crime is highly advantageous.

As a Team Leader within the COB Team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of your team.
You will lead, coach and motivate staff to drive performance, providing clear direction to enable your team to deliver unbeatable customer experiences at all times.
