If you have an interest in talking about our marine and terrestrial environment, biosecurity or conservation, then this will be the role for you!
The Role
Serious biosecurity issues, including plant diseases, rodents and marine pests, to name a few, are affecting our Hauraki Gulf / Tikapa Moana and Islands, and we want you to coordinate a group of ambassadors who will educate the public to prevent further harm.

You will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the ambassadors daily tasks, rosters, handout materials, performance, and coordinating logistics of a specifically designed outreach trailer to various sites throughout the summer.
The coordinator will raise awareness of marine and terrestrial pests, the pest-free status of many of our islands, the potential threats to them, and the importance of checking and cleaning marine (and terrestrial) gear before heading out.
