ROLE SUMMARY:


ACG Parnell College is an exceptional co-educational, non-denominational independent school situated in the beautiful Parnell , Auckland.

Our mission is to deliver an enriching holistic education that caters to the needs of students, spanning from Preschool through Year 13.

We are in search of a dedicated and passionate part-time Teacher of Art to become an integral part of our College team for 16 hours per week for terms 3 and 4.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organisational skills, thrive in a collaborative and supportive team environment, and exhibit a strong commitment to enriching the broader school community.

Furthermore, they will bring a skill set that enables them to effectively engage with students, parents, colleagues, and align with the overarching ACG educational philosophy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Teach art at secondary year levels, ensuring you create an engaging learning environment.

  • Cater to the varied learning needs and abilities within your classes to maximise student development.

  • Develop excellent working relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.

  • Ensure the effective use of technology in teaching and learning activities.

  • Participate in wider school activities.

  • Ensure student's welfare and safety in every moment.

  • THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • NZ Teacher registration with supporting teaching qualifications (BA and/or MBA).

  • Experience in teaching secondary curriculum to a high standard.

  • Well-prepared, inspiring confidence in students and parents.

  • Flexible, committed, professional, hard working, team player.
