English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, The arts

Te Whare Rangimārie - The Inclusion Support Centre (ISC) is a department of Waitākere College that caters for 70 ORS funded, neuro-diverse students.

We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic teacher (preferably with special education or primary training) to work in the Inclusion Support Centre with students who have a variety of learning needs and are aged between 12 to 21.

The successful applicant will be a positive and empathetic team player working with a fun and vibrant staff.

You must have NZ teaching experience and be able to work in New Zealand on a permanent basis without the requirement for sponsorship or a job offer.

You will be leading teacher aides in a class of ORS funded students and will work closely with speech language therapists, occupational therapists and physiotherapists.

Students in this class engage in learning programmes in the ISC and may attend option mainstream classes developing independence skills.

The ISC is an integral part of Waitākere College.
