OverviewAuckland Council's Group Shared Services division has an opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Partner – Executive Search to join the Talent Acquisition team.
This is a critical role for the Council and will focus on leading executive search for governance boards, senior leadership, and niche roles across Auckland Council and its Controlled Organisations.ResponsibilitiesAttraction of highly qualified and experienced leaders to executive and board roles across the Auckland Council groupDesigning bespoke sourcing strategies using market intelligence and executive networksAdvising selection panels and council committees on fair and transparent recruitment practicesProviding strategic insights to influence board composition and leadership capabilityRequirements and QualificationsMinimum 12 years in executive-level recruitment, ideally in agency or public sector settingsProven success in executive search and leadership consultingStrong stakeholder engagement and strategic advisory skillsFamiliarity with public sector recruitment frameworks and governance protocolsHigh proficiency in CRM/ATS platforms and market mapping toolsWe are seeking a highly motivated and politically astute individual who has led executive recruitment and sourcing for board members and senior talent within organisations.
Experience in executive search agencies or similar roles within large, complex, and politically sensitive organisations is preferred.
