This facility is located in a beautiful villa in Nelson and offers 24-hour care.
We support individuals experiencing mental health distress that prevents them from staying in their home environment and you will play a vital role in providing short-term crisis respite support.The shift is Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday Awake Night shifts, 11pm to 7:30am in Nelson.
A meal is provided for overnight awake staff.
You'll also: Focusing on the individuals needs and providing culturally safe practiceRelevant administrative tasks, comprehensive notes and effective handover, and supporting and collaborating with your colleaguesYou'll need to be prepared to support our clients to do whatever it takes using a recovery modelWhilst the whai ora you support are sleeping you will complete tasks such as cleaning and maintaining things like filing, first aid kits, emergency kits and preparation of paperwork.About You | Mou For this role, you must hold the New Zealand Level 4 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (or an equivalent qualification or be currently working towards it).

You should also have the ability to provide medication support with meticulous attention to detail.
Additionally, you'll align with our commitment to a recovery-focused approach.You'll have: New Zealand Certificate Level 4 in Health and Wellbeing (or a recognised equivalent).
Some mental health experience is neededA full New Zealand drivers licenceYou must hold a current comprehensive first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one.Applicants must have the right to work in New Zealand.
