This facility is located in a beautiful villa in Nelson and offers 24-hour care.
We support individuals experiencing mental health distress that prevents them from staying in their home environment and you will play a vital role in providing short-term crisis respite support.The shift is Sunday and Monday 3pm to *****pm in Nelson.You'll also:Focus on the individual's needs and provide culturally safe practiceComplete relevant administrative tasks, take comprehensive notes, provide effective handovers to the next shift, and support and collaborate with your colleaguesMedication support when requiredSupporting people with independent daily living skills – cooking, cleaning, gardening, and everyday household tasksSupporting people to be healthier and set goalsAbout You | MouFor this role, you must hold a Level 4 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (or an equivalent qualification).
You should also have the ability to provide medication support with meticulous attention to detail.
Additionally, you'll align with our commitment to a recovery-focused approach.You'll have:New Zealand Certificate Level 4 in Health and Wellbeing (or a recognised equivalent).
Overseas qualifications must meet NZ equivalency.Preferred mental health experienceA full New Zealand driver's licenceYou must hold a current comprehensive first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one.Applicants must have the right to work in New Zealand.
