Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:
Community Integrated Care is recruiting to expand our current team of Support Workers in
Huntly! As a Support Worker, your role will be to support individuals within their own homes, ensuring they are able to live as independently as possible and are supported to make decisions and live amazing lives! At this service, we support 4 individuals with learning disabilities who live in a large bungalow in a quiet area of Huntly, with good train and bus links to the town.
The people we support are active in their local community, enjoying activities such as swimming, music and arts and crafts, so we are looking for people who are fun, active and enjoy supporting others to live the best lives possible.
In this role, you will provide support to individuals with different needs however we can Provide training on Moving and Positioning, Epilepsy and MAPA.
If you hold a
full UK driving license, that would be a great bonus but is not a mandatory requirement.
We provide support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so candidates must be
flexible to work on different days and on different shifts and we currently work with early and late shifts, as well as some waking nights.
