This is a permanent role, available on a full-time (40 hours per week) or part-time basis for the right candidate.As a Community Support Worker, you'll build strong, trusting relationships with tangata whaiora (clients), helping them develop and maintain living skills, relationships, and daily activities.
You will support clients in achieving their goals and being active participants in their communities.Fluency in New Zealand Sign Language (NZSL) is essential, and verbal communication skills would be ideal, especially for coordinating appointments, advocating for clients in health settings, and addressing urgent situations.
