Role and responsibilities
Each Tangata will have individual care requirements, and you will support them with all elements of daily living.
No qualifications or prior experience are required, as we provide comprehensive training to ensure all Kaiawhina | Support Workers are equipped with the skills and knowledge they need.
We're currently hiring for the following workdays / hours
Flexible schedule from Monday to Sunday, including two days off during the week.
Option of morning or afternoon shifts available: 7am – 12pm or 4pm – 10pm and sleepovers.

Our Kaiawhina Skills Framework training takes place during your first two – four weeks of employment and is a mixture of practical training, online self-directed learning, and working with a buddy trainer.
We cover the basics of support including:
Infection prevention control
Moving and Handling
Medication management
Practical tasks including personal cares, compression therapy, meal preparation etc.
Policies and procedures
$1.00 per hour extra in your pay for weekend work!
