The Role | Mň ā tēnei tūranga mahi
You’ll be working awake shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM , Sunday to Monday , based in Tauranga.
In this role you will:
- Support people in our housing and recovery mental health service
- Have good people skills and able to work independently and within a wider team.
- Be busy supporting people with budgeting and independent daily living skills.
- Ensure health and safety during night shifts
- Be prepared to do whatever it takes for the people we support - cleaning, cooking or helping with everyday tasks.
- Preferably you’ll hold the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (or a recognised equivalent) or be willing to commence study towards this qualification within six months of starting with us.
- You must hold a current full New Zealand driver’s licence.
- You must hold a current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one.
- Knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the articles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
