With a proud legacy of supporting critical infrastructure – from Defence sites to civic spaces – we deliver services that keep our clients operating safely, efficiently, and sustainably.We're looking for a proactive and detail-focused Support Centre Administrator to join our Business Support team in Lower Hutt.
This role is at the heart of our operations, supporting the smooth delivery of maintenance services by managing workflows, coordinating service requests, and ensuring accurate, on-time communication with both suppliers and internal teams.About the roleThis is not your average admin role.
You'll be fielding requests, triaging work orders, dispatching jobs to the right people, and following them through from start to finish — all while keeping our systems updated and our stakeholders in the loop.You'll be part of a high-performing support team that plays a crucial behind-the-scenes role in keeping the wheels turning.
Every day brings something different, and your ability to organise, communicate, and stay cool under pressure will make all the difference.This is an onsite role, Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.00pm (40 hours per week).
What you'll be doing:Administering reactive maintenance workflows from receipt to close-outScheduling service requests and coordinating with subcontractors and internal teamsCommunicating job updates clearly and professionally to operations and support staffEnsuring documentation and billing information is accurate and up to dateResponding to incoming requests via phone, email, and online channelsSupporting the delivery of Health & Safety and Quality system requirementsAssisting with reporting, document control, and general support across the contractWhat you'll bring:3+ years in an administration role and 1–2 years in customer serviceStrong planning, scheduling, and organisational skillsConfidence using IT systems, especially the MS Office suite (and the ability to pick up new systems quickly)Excellent attention to detail and an ability to manage competing prioritiesA calm, professional approach when dealing with queries, requests, or last-minute changesA team-oriented attitude and a natural instinct to help things run smoothlyWhy PAE?
