Southern Cross Brightside Hospital
Southern Cross Brightside Hospital is a modern private surgical hospital located in central Auckland.
Originally established on its Auckland site in Epsom in the ****s, Southern Cross Brightside Hospital was completely rebuilt to modern, high tech specifications and re-opened in ****.
Brightside Hospital offers a wide range of surgical services and post-operative care to around 4,500 patients each year.
This four-theatre hospital provides 43 in-patient beds and 6 day stay chairs, and has a staff of nearly 100.
We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Supply Chain Coordinator to join our hospital team and support onsite inventory operations.
This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, ideal for someone who enjoys physical work and thrives in a structured, process-driven environment.
In this role, you'll be responsible for receipting goods, physically putting away stock, managing inventory storage, and maintaining accurate master data.
You'll work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure inventory is handled efficiently, safely, and in line with hospital standards.
You'll also support other staff with inventory enquiries, contribute to stock counts and discrepancy investigations, and help identify opportunities for operational improvement.
Maintaining clean and organised storage areas and upholding health and safety standards are key parts of the role.
Success is measured through monthly KPIs and your ability to contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
A minimum of 2 years' experience within a supply chain/inventory management focused role
Proficient in using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking and reporting
Comfortable with physical work, including lifting, moving, and organising stock in a hospital environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate master data and follow SOPs
Effective communicator with the ability to build collaborative relationships across teams and with suppliers
