Supervisor to join our team for Te Wai Takamori o Te Awa Kairangi (Te Awa Kairangi).
About the RoleAs a Supervisor you’ll lead contractors, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
This is a hands-on role where your coordination and leadership will keep the site running smoothly and on schedule.
Coordinate and control civil and earthworks activities within your designated areaSupervise and support your site team to meet productivity, safety, and quality targetsManage site logistics including traffic management, security, and facilitiesCommunicate work plans clearly and ensure resources are used effectivelyMonitor progress and maintain accurate records for labour, plant, and materialsContribute to a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with project standardsWhat you’ll bring to the role10+ years’ experience in civil construction, including large-scale projectsStrong understanding of civil and earthworks methods and construction drawingsProven ability to lead teams and coordinate subcontractorsSolid communication and organisational skillsA full NZ driver’s licence and relevant trade qualificationsAbout Te Awa Kairangi Te Awa Kairangi Alliance is delivering transport, walking and cycling improvements to the SH2 Melling interchange and rail station, as part of a wider flood protection and city revitalisation programme.
Fletcher Construction is working with Alliance partners AECOM, NZTA, Taranaki Whānui and Ngāti Toa Rangatira to deliver this transformative project.
