Structural Engineer – Christchurch
We have an exciting opportunity for a Structural Engineer to join our experienced Building Structures team in Christchurch.
In this role, you will actively contribute to Structural Engineering projects within the Property & Buildings Group, providing technical capability.
It is essential that you meet our clients' needs by delivering a high-quality professional consultancy service.
This role offers the chance to work on interesting and complex built environment projects.
You will have the opportunity to work on varied and challenging design projects across Wellington, New Zealand, and the world, applying your expertise to develop innovative and future-focused solutions.
Responsibilities
Actively contribute to Structural Engineering projects within the Property & Buildings Group, providing technical capability.
Meet clients' needs by delivering a high-quality professional consultancy service.
Work on interesting and complex built environment projects across Wellington, New Zealand, and the world, applying your expertise to develop innovative and future-focused solutions.
About you / Qualifications
Tertiary Qualification in Engineering, BE (Structural or Civil) Washington Accord or equivalent.
Ideally Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng)
Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in the field of structural or civil engineering
Strong technical knowledge and understanding of building structures.
Confident with seismic engineering for buildings, including design for resilience and assessment.
Excellent knowledge of the relevant design codes, standards, guidelines, and practices.
