About The Company

Archway Recruitment is an engineering consultancy based in South Auckland looking for a talented Structural Engineer with around three to four years’ experience.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive, forward‑thinking team and work on a wide variety of projects across the Auckland region.

The job on offer

You’ll be exposed to a diverse workload that will help broaden your technical skills and industry knowledge, including:

  • Medium–large scale residential developments
  • Commercial and industrial buildings
  • Seismic assessments and strengthening projects
  • Structural design for refurbishments and new builds
  • Community and public sector developments

To hit the ground running, you’ll ideally bring a BE (Civil/Structural) or equivalent, with 3–4 years of local consulting experience.

A solid technical knowledge in steel, reinforced concrete, and timber design with exposure to design software (ETABS, SAP2000, SPACEGASS or similar) is required.

You should have a sound understanding of the NZ Building Code and relevant standards with strong communication skills, with the ability to work alongside architects, contractors, and clients.
