Job description

Our family business has been in hospitality for over 70 years and is now in its third generation.
We operate 3 venues on the West Coast: Paroa Hotel, Sevenpenny in Greymouth CBD, and Recreation Hotel in Greymouth.
This role is based in Greymouth, across Paroa Hotel, Sevenpenny, and the Recreation Hotel.We are preparing for a busy summer and looking for skilled, motivated chefs to join our kitchens.

You must be available for weekends, rostered shifts, and early morning or late-night hours.Key SkillsCooking meals and seasoning of food during cookingPortioning of food, plating, and adding gravies, sauces and garnishesCoordinate with Chefs and other kitchen staff on food preparationsPreparing food to meet special dietary requirementsChecking the food and ingredients stocks and ensure qualityRegulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipmentEnsuring all equipment and work environments are operationalTraining staffAdhering to the policies and proceduresAssisting when required in additional function of special events held by the restaurantApply Now.
