Join our friendly and supportive Radiology team at Middlemore Hospital and Manukau Health Park, where your expertise helps deliver high-quality care to one of New Zealands most diverse populations.About the roleYou'll provide safe, effective and patient-focused ultrasound services across our busy hospital and community settings.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary Radiology team, you'll perform a wide range of ultrasound procedures, ensuring a high standard of diagnostic imaging and care.
You'll collaborate closely with Radiologists and registrars, contribute to teaching student sonographers, and support continuous quality improvement across our service.About youWe're looking for a Sonographer who is:Qualified with DMU or an equivalent recognised postgraduate sonography qualificationRegistered (or eligible for registration) with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board (MRTB), and hold an APCSkilled in producing high-quality diagnostic images with a commitment to patient safety and comfortA strong communicator and team player who thrives in a busy, dynamic environmentCommitted to ongoing professional development and culturally responsive careExperience in musculoskeletal, vascular, gynaecological or obstetric ultrasound would be an advantage, but we also welcome applications from newly qualified SonographersBe part of a large, supportive Radiology service with excellent clinical supervision and development opportunitiesAccess to a variety of cases across both Middlemore Hospital and Manukau Health ParkOpportunities to contribute to education, research and service improvementWork in a region where your skills truly make a difference to peoples livesWorking at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
