The Role
Joining the team as a Solutions Architect, you will be at the forefront of technology development, shaping the future of core business projects.
You'll play a pivotal role in defining, designing, and delivering sound solution architectures that align with our strategic vision.
Your Key Responsibilities will include:
Stakeholder Engagement: Build positive rapport and collaborate effectively with stakeholders, drawing on your excellent interpersonal skills. Define and Develop Solutions: Craft robust solution architectures for assigned projects, ensuring they meet business objectives and contribute to our enterprise's target state. Strategic Alignment: Align solutions with our Technology Strategic Plan and digital strategy, while also contributing to the development of new standards and capabilities. Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership to projects, collaborating with diverse teams to maintain technical integrity throughout the project lifecycle. Consultation and Influence: Consult on solution options, considering cost, strategic contribution, and technical debt, and advocate for solutions that align with wider organisational goals. Project Collaboration: Work closely with key stakeholders, leading the design and architecture efforts to enable successful project delivery. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development of methods and approaches to ensure an agile and lean architecture practice, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Technical Governance: Ensure end-to-end technical governance of solutions, managing change processes and bringing solutions through relevant governance forums. About You
Drawing on your previous experience in Solution Architecture or technical leadership roles, you'll have the natural ability to foster strategic relationships with key stakeholders, positively influencing our technical directions.
You'll also confidently demonstrate:
Proficient in AWS, cloud-native technologies, and big data solutions Previous hands-on development experience to build distributed systems and/or microservices. Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences. Exceptional interpersonal skills, fostering trust and collaboration among team members and stakeholders. Broad and deep knowledge across various hardware and software platforms. Extensive experience in technology projects across different roles in the SDLC lifecycle. Strong business engagement skills coupled with pragmatic solution design capabilities. Strategic thinking and the ability to articulate trade-offs and risks. Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience in software engineering or architecture. Why Join Us:
