The Every Day Money (EDM) Tribe is backing our frontline by building products to make banking simpler and easier for our people.

We know we can do this by supporting and maintaining the core systems we use today, while building intuitive and effective solutions that will allow us to help our customers into the future.

Within EDM we have our Trade Banking squad that support the services used by our International Trade service business to support all our importer and/or exporter customers.

You will apply your .NetCore or .Net development expertise to help the team in building, supporting and maintaining our .NetCore based Trade Banking integration services, which are key to the operation of the SaaS based Trade Banking platform.

About the role:

You'll be part of a team working to deliver and support a secure, functional and performant set of integration services that seamlessly integrate our SaaS Trade Banking solution back into our enterprise systems.

We advocate agile, fully cross functional teams which will take you through all facets of engineering in any given day.

We are looking for a .NetCore developer that wants to explore new technologies but also doesn't mind performing the needed maintenance for the services and systems they support.

Key activities are:

· Maintenance of the systems our services run on including Windows Servers, MS SQL and MQ services

· Supporting activities associated with the upgrade of the SaaS platform.

· Building out and supporting enhancements for our .NetCore based Trade Banking integration services platform.

About you:

As an experienced .Net/.NetCore developer your proven initiative, problem solving abilities and technical leadership will make you well suited to this role.

We are looking for an individual that will take ownership of our technical solutions, drive continuous change for the squad and customers to ensure we are delivering best possible outcomes.

You will work collaboratively with our squads and stakeholders to be the voice of engineering and deliver products that delight our customers.

We are looking for someone who has:

· Extensive .Net Core development experience, preferably in an enterprise environment.

· Ideally you will also have some experience working with Windows servers either on premises or cloud based equivalent services.

· Experience in IBM MQ or other event messaging systems.

· A good working knowledge of SQL is important to be successful in this role

· It would be a bonus if you have worked in supporting financial services systems

· Experience leading the team through releases and running boards.

· Soft skills: the ability to gather requirements and present solutions to stakeholders when needed, establishing dialogue with fellow engineers

· Attitude: Positive mindset, bringing team together .
