Transactional Banking is the largest single platform at ASB with a diverse technology landscape including our mainframe and SAP core banking systems but also the Microsoft .NET stack on which our Lending Applications are primarily focussed.
As a developer in the Lending focus area, you'll be part of our team that aims to provide a seamless experience for our frontline teams by enabling them to support our customers with key milestones in their financial journey such as requesting a new mortgage or personal loan, refixing an existing loan, or settling an existing loan after a customer's home had been sold.
Being part of the Engineering Practice at ASB we encourage our teams to work autonomously in an agile way while actively growing their skills and expertise to continuously improve outcomes for our customers.
You'll have the opportunity to get hands-on with some interesting and complex pieces of work that integrate on an enterprise scale, all while being part of a smaller squad that makes their own decisions about how to work through prioritisation - so your voice will be heard, and your opinions valued.
We advocate for T-Shaped teams which will take you through all facets of engineering in any given day.
