To support Virtuoso's continued growth, we're looking for aSoftware Engineer specialising in Delivery Engineering to drive automation, optimise CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to the architecture and scalability of our platform.

As a senior member of the team, you'll provide technical expertise, mentor engineers, and help shape the DevOps roadmap to support our future growth.

What will you be doing?

As a Software Engineer - Delivery, you will play a key role in the development, deployment, and reliability of Virtuoso.

Beyond optimising automation and infrastructure, you'll help define best practices, contribute to architectural decisions, and support the team's professional growth.

• Contribute to architectural design and strategy, ensuring our infrastructure is secure, scalable, and optimised for performance.
  
  
• Automate and enhance deployment workflows, ensuring seamless transitions from development to production while maintaining system reliability.
  
  
• Influence technical decision‑making, working alongside leadership to shape our roadmap and best practices.
  
  
• Integrate third‑party technologies into our infrastructure to expand the capabilities of the Virtuoso platform.
  
  
• Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient, repeatable, and automated software delivery.
  
  
• Mentor and support engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
  
  

What will you bring to the role?

• Experience: 4+ years in SRE, or a related field, with expertise in cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD processes.
  
  
• Skills: Proficiency in automation, configuration management, and orchestration tools such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Kubernetes, CloudFormation, and Terraform, as well as scripting/programming in Java, Python, or Bash.
  
  
• Characteristics: A strong communicator and mentor with an analytical mindset, who enjoys problem‑solving and collaborating in a fast‑paced environment.
  
  
• Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience), with additional certifications in SysOps, Cloud Engineering (AWS, Azure, GCP), or DevOps‑related disciplines being a plus.
