About the roleThe Department of Conservation has introduced a new role: Site Support Officer.
Reporting to the Operations Advisor or Regional Planning and Performance Manager, this role provides essential administrative support to help ensure the efficient and safe functioning of DOC facilities across the region.
The position focuses on:Supporting the Site Lead to ensure smooth and safe operation of DOC premises, acting as the main site contact for office and facility issuesBeing the go-to person for general office managementEnsuring DOC pool vehicles at site are fit for purpose and maintained as required (e.g., services and WOFs)Supporting key site health and safety tasks such as safety/fire drills, site inductions, regular checks and ACC safety auditsPlease note: This role is 0.5 FTE.
