GHD is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Technician to join our dynamic Auckland team.

The role:
Maintain compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements throughout all activities. Prepare detailed architectural documentation using Revit. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure design intent is accurately translated into documentation. Lead and manage documentation packages across various project phases (concept, developed design, construction). Ensure compliance with building codes, standards, and local regulations. Mentor and support junior technicians and graduates within the team. Participate in quality assurance reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of documentation standards. Collaborate with project managers to meet deadlines and budget requirements. Engage with clients and stakeholders to resolve technical queries and support project delivery. Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices. About you:
Relevant tertiary qualification in Architectural Documentation and Detailing, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience At least 15+ years proven experience in architectural documentation across various project types Advanced proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows Experience in using MasterSpec Strong envelope detailing experience in architectural documentation and design, particularly in the areas of building exteriors, wall systems, and cladding details.
A good understanding of local compliance and consenting processes Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and a strong sense of responsibility toward the team’s goals.
