About this role | Mō tēnei tūranga

Based in the Maungawhau office, the Senior Support Officer will provide professional and exceptional customer-focused business and administrative support services to managers and staff to enable front line staff to focus on the needs of learners.

The role undertakes complex administration or support operations within the business units to administer and coordinate processes, systems, applications, and business services.

The Senior Support Officer is expected to understand business processes and operations in the business unit they are servicing.
Salary range: $60,879- $66,887per annum + 3% KiwiSaver.

The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects individual skills and experience.

About you | Mōhou ake

To be successful in this role you will have the following experience:
* Proven experience providing senior level administrative support in a complex organisation.

* Experience booking travel, organising conferences/ events and related requirements * Excellent time management and organisational skills * Knowledge of and experience of the Machinery of Government and/or public sector * The ability and willingness to adhere to the Public Service Standards of Integrity and Conduct.

* Proven ability to maintain utmost integrity in all interactions and treating all information you are party to in your role as confidential.

* A track record of excellent customer service focus and dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.

About our group and team | Mātau rōpū ake

Te Mahau takiwā collectively provide leadership and integrated services to the education sector.

Our core role is to deliver professional services and provide advice to schools, kura, and early learning services, to help them to achieve better outcomes for tamariki and ākonga.​ This includes advice and guidance to the sector for the implementation of Government’s priorities, working directly with schools, kura and early learning services and connecting in with other government agencies, iwi and community groups.
