In this role, you will be responsible for developing and refining cutting-edge products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring concepts to life, and ensuring our designs meet the highest standards of quality and functionality.If you have a strong background in engineering design, a keen eye for detail, and a desire to contribute to groundbreaking projects, we want to hear from you.The focus of the position is:Maintenance and evolution of Tait's Terminals productsEmbedded firmware design, implementation and testKey Responsibilities:Conduct requirements analysis and modellingDevelop design specifications and implement solutionsDebugging and correcting faulty design.Demonstrating up-to-date knowledge in the discipline by contributions in technical discussions, writing technical papers/studies and delivering presentations as requested.Participation in formal review of his or her work and test results, and where appropriate, initiation and leadership of peer reviews.Mentoring of junior staffJoin Our Team: If you're passionate about technology and thrive in a collaborative environment, we offer exciting opportunities for growth and development.

O pukenga - About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have a relevant Bachelor, Postgraduate or other NZQA approved qualification or relevant experience in the discipline.As well as:Exposure to commercial product development for 5+ yearsA keen interest in technology and solving problemsExperience developing software in a collaborative team environmentProficient with C or C++ programmingExperience in use of Python scripting language would be advantageousExperience with radio technology and transceiver design would be advantageousExperience with VHDL would be advantageousExposure to the full lifecycle of commercial product developmentGood communication skills demonstrated by written contributions and verbal presentationsNga painga - what's in it for you?
