Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Marsh Corporate team at our Wellington office.

This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:

  • Manage a portfolio of accounts ensuring high quality customer service is always provided, which may include self-servicing of small to mid-sized client accounts under supervision of Client Executives
  • Assist Client Executives in all aspects of client service including face-to-face client contact, administration, technical support, and business development
  • Develop and maintain effective long-term relationships with key client decision makers and monitor political, management, and other changes within client organisations to preserve and protect the company’s relationship with the client
  • Take a pro-active approach to all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients, ensuring client needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards
    Implement successful account retention and defence strategies
  • Maintain awareness of all large and potentially complicated claim-related matters and assist in negotiating equitable claim settlements on behalf of clients
  • What you need to have:

  • Experience in fire and general insurance
  • New Zealand Certificate in Financial Advice (Level 5) or a clear plan to achieve this within a reasonable timeframe
  • Demonstrated experience in the insurance industry
  • Negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good working knowledge of all aspects of insurance and relevant legislation
