CTR are currently recruiting an established Quantity Surveyor who wants to take their career to the next level.

So if you have leadership ambitions, the drive to make things happen and the potential skills to manage and lead a team, then we need to hear from you.

Your new company

The organisation are an established Quantity Surveying consultancy.

They have a niche team, that are really going well in this market.

You will be working on a variety of projects through out Auckland wider New Zealand.

Working with a team that has a professional and fun approach to working.

Your new role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be expected to maintain relationships with existing clients and where opportunity arises, develop new business and take on new challenges.

As part of your role, you will help to lead and assist with the professional development of the members of the team.

But also enjoy taking on a hands on approach with the day to day work load, dealing with the preparation of detailed cost plans through the various stages of design development, construction cost estimates, tender analysis, cost comparisons and render support for the preparation of the building contracts.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or related qualification
  • Solid NZ experience in a senior surveying position
  • Management/mentoring experience
  • Exposure to the New Zealand construction market and networks
  • A naturally collaborative working style
  • Commercially savvy with a big picture mind set
  • Excellent exposure to a variety of projects (Commercial/Residential/Industrial)
  • Fantastic communication skills, developed in industry/networking working events and social occasions
