Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer – PERM

About the Role (your why)
The Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer is responsible for carrying out Quality Assurance, technical and functional Automation testing services and related consulting activities for Datacom and Datacom clients.
The work may be extended to do non-functional testing such as performance testing.
What you'll do
Develop and maintain tests using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress and/or Cucumber.
Conduct integration testing with tools such as Postman, Rest Assured and Bruno.
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Postman, JUnit 5, Rest Assured, Python, Typescript, and Cucumber BDD runner.
Strong proficiency in Git; experience with Kafka Confluent Server is helpful.
What you'll bring (Must have)
Experience building an automation framework (in any language/toolset).
Producing reusable generic methods for User Interface components.
Desirable knowledge of advanced coding patterns in addition to using Page Object Models.
Ability to analyse manual tests and existing automated tests to refine automated regression test cases that are both reliable and efficient.
Willingness to participate in design discussions, document new team standards, then follow and help improve them.
Strong communication and soft skills to work with all squads to line up testing efforts and obtain test data.
Nice to have
Consulting mindset.
Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence is advantageous.
ISQTB certification.
Openness to pairing and a demonstrated sense of ownership.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
AI knowledge: basic understanding of AI concepts, agentic testing, and protocols.
Familiarity with testing methodologies for AI systems, including model validation and performance testing.
